By laws dealing with Occupy supporter signs?

Does anyone know where I'd be able to find information on London's by-laws regarding a home owner posting a sign in support of the Occupy movement on their front lawns? I've been searching the City of London website but can't find anything that deals with signage.

In a public area which is a non-park it would certainly remove one of the possible factors for the police moving against us. Although there are still more as has been said.

Nobody asked about permission - he was talking about the fourm.

It is illegal either way. But we have to take advantage of where they have less rights to remove us. City By-Laws are pretty much set in stone saying 'no camping'.. but I think it becomes a bit more difficult to remove from public spaces that are not parks.

anyway you look at it, the cops can shut us down at any time. i strongly disagree with asking for "permission". permission doesn't equal occupation. people have to realize that occupation comes with the risk of arrest. that's a fact. if you don't want to run that risk, don't be part of the occupation, just take part in the general assembly.

How about public spaces that aren't parks? I know there are government owned buildings scattered around the city, some that are private owned, but there are a couple that come to mind that are government owned, but not classified as parks. If the park by-laws don't apply to it, I think we have a greater chance.

I think it is more a user permission than the room it is still not working.
From what I read the Charter of Rights says we can do this, the bi-law says we need permission and lawiscool.com/2010/07/04/the-law-of-street-protest-in-canada/ says we run a risk

Okay, although I have checked through the materials, long story short, we could potentially meet police resistance at any point as any potential reason for the police to intervene will be present in one form or another.

Parks & Recreation Area By-law
4.1 Activities prohibited - subject to approval
Unless authorized by the General Manager, no person shall engage in any of the following
activities in a park or recreation area:
(3) erect a tent or shelter, or park a trailer of any kind for overnight accommodation;
(5) hold or take part in a picnic, organized gathering or event of more than twenty
five persons;
(10) post any sign or poster on any pole, planter, building, fence, bench, picnic table,
electrical transmission unit, lamp standard, or City or London Hydro equipment of
any kind;
These are just some of the bi-laws I found, the forum is blocking me from posting the link for the full document. I am attempting to find the general manager which is proving to be... difficult, I called the parks and recreation office but they would not answer their phones. I will try again later, they are probably on lunch.
